Just a few studies have examined astaxanthin’s potential role in treating carpal-tunnel syndrome, but the research is promising.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, supplementing with astaxanthin was shown to improve this condition.1 Supplementation resulted in decreased severity and duration of pain.
